Mark Leavitt, CPA

Mark is a South Bay transplant who grew up in San Jose, went to Bellarmine College Preparatory and received a degree in accounting from San Jose State University. Mark and his family have been in Santa Rosa since 2001.

Mark took over a small tax practice in Sebastopol and purchased another a few years later. While preparing tax returns, Mark would discover investment missteps (elderly clients being sold annuities, promises of unreasonably large returns) that could have been avoided with proper planning and trusted advice. This inspired Mark to become an investment advisor and opened Leavitt Wealth Management in 2009 so he could help clients avoid similar mistakes and assist others in obtaining their long-term goals.

Mark has served on various local committees and boards. While serving on the Fountaingrove Club’s board as President of the club during the 2017 fires, he learned a lot about the courage and resilience of our community. He enjoys family time, golf, bourbon tasting and travel.

Hobbies: Golf, Travel (including the planning part) and Hiking

Favorite wine/winery: No favorite. Too hard to pick just one. Pride is always good and the view from their picnic area is amazing. My wine fridge seems to have a lot of Ridge, Carlisle and Watkins. Unti is fun for their unique varietals that you don’t find very often.

Favorite place you have traveled: Come on! Just one? Africa’s Serengeti, Australia, sailing in Tahiti and England are in the top. Kauai always has a special place in my heart because I got married there.

Favorite band/artist: INXS

Favorite movie: Star Wars – any and all related to it.

Favorite sports team: Traitors, I mean, Raiders. I also root for the Niners.

Best piece of financial advice I’ve ever received is… compounding interest. I try to share this with everyone new to investing. The best feeling is seeing the Aha moment on a young person’s face when they understand the concept.

Kaden Wootton, CFP®

Originally from Rhode Island, Kaden moved to San Francisco in 2020 and quickly integrated himself into the local community. He is a member of the SF Financial Planning Association chapter, plays for the San Francisco Lacrosse Club, and spends winter weekends skiing in Tahoe.

Kaden has a bachelor’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University and studied International Relations at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom. These experiences allowed him to expand upon his relationship-building skills and broaden his perspective to a global scale.

Prior to joining Enspire, Kaden worked for Meritas Wealth Management in Larkspur, California where he became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. This experience provided him with a deeper understanding and appreciation of comprehensive financial planning and wealth management.

Hobbies: Lacrosse, Skiing, Wine tasting, and traveling.

Favorite wine: I am a big fan of Zinfandel wines. Carlisle Zin being my favorite.

Favorite place you have traveled: I lived in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England for a year in college and have great memories of it. The UK in general will always be one of my favorite places to visit.

Favorite sports teams: I grew up in Rhode Island, so to the dismay of many, I am a New England sports fan through and through. Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, Celtics…

Best piece of financial advice I’ve ever received is… Always take your company match, its free money!

When I am not at Enspire you can find me… traveling, hanging out with friends, and playing lacrosse.

Raylene Leavitt, Client Care

Raylene was born and raised in San Jose. She graduated with a degree in Psychology from San Jose State University. She and her husband, Mark, and their family moved to Santa Rosa in 2001. Best move ever!

Raylene has a background in Human Resources. She has worked for companies with 100+ employees and as small as 3. She helped run Mark G. Leavitt, CPA and Leavitt Wealth Management. Her compassion and sharp listening skills make it very easy for clients and employees to establish meaningful bonds.

Outside her professional life, she very much is an advocate for youth wellness. She has coached youth soccer, Girls on the Run, Cross Country, and Track & Field.

Hobbies: exercise, gardening, travel and baking.

Favorite wine/winery: Zin, Petit Verdot, Grenache, Malbec…… I really enjoy sipping wine in beautiful gardens. We have many choices in Sonoma County, so I am lucky.

Favorite place you have traveled: Africa for the amazing animals and people. So eye opening to how simplicity can make people so happy. Kauai is where we got married and have been many times. It holds a special place in my heart.

Favorite band/artist: Pearl Jam

Favorite movie: not much of a movie buff, but love feel good movies. My kids would probably say Elf because I laugh and cry every single time.

Favorite sports team: Buffalo Bills

Best piece of financial advice I’ve ever received is… pay off your credit card balance.

When I am not at Enspire you can find me… in my yard, listening to music, working out, and entertaining family and friends.
